Alex Wilmot

I joined AMD Group as Managing Director of Dartford in September 2023.  Starting my career as an electrical apprentice and working my way through the ranks inclusive of project, contracts, operations and commercial management and then finally fulfilling the role as managing director, so I have a rounded view of every aspect of the business and can also relate to staff and supply chain. I always believe investing in staff is key to the growth of not just a business but to the individual. Offering staff the opportunity to upskill and progress has so many benefits and has been the backbone of many years of success.  My main aim is to continue and build upon AMD’s success, not just through financial growth but also I would like to create a working environment where people enjoy coming into work every day as I do.  The team around me is what makes a successful MD.
