MANAGING DIRECTOR

When I walked out of school at 16 it was fair to say I didn’t really know what I wanted to do, I ended up doing a few things that I didn’t really enjoy, overseas removals and IT work to name a couple. A couple of my friends at the time had done local apprenticeships in gas and they were earning very well – so that looked like a good choice to me! I must have sent out 40 letters to local companies for an apprenticeship and didn’t get one response. Undeterred I saw an advert for a British Gas apprenticeship which I applied for and thankfully got, I completed a 3 year apprenticeship and since then and through many roles worked on just about everything and anything and used my technical background to help me in climbing the ladder to where I am today at AMD FM.

“Outside of work with my Sunday league career finished due to an ACL injury, I enjoy off shore fishing, which is great fun especially in the bad weather. I am a season ticket holder at Spurs, which is not always that fun and now my knee is getting back to some kind of normal the gym  is something I can start to get back into.
